2. Couldn't afford it before then. |

I have small, wide feet and shoes tend to be expensive for me. My daughter always needed something so what I needed came last.

I feel bad about buying them. $70 is a lot of money for me but dammit-I deserved them. My old shoes could carry entire conversations w/ me before (the sole flapped). And they feel so good. Turns out I grew a size.

8. But they don't fit very well. |

Believe me-I tried there about six months ago. And I have a job where I stand all day long so I need a decent pair. Wally World's always fell apart on me w/in a few months. I went for a nice pair of New Balance this time. I know that they will last-my last ones that lasted three years were NB.

They are white and have the pink breast cancer ribbon on the tongue. Part of the proceeds are donated to Susan Komen Foundation.

I used to be a runner when I was younger and NB was my favorite kind of shoes. They last a good length of time and are more comfortable on my feet than a Nike.

I have a 10 1/2 narrow foot (women's). I might as well wear shoeboxes, it's so difficult to find proper footwear.
You have my sympathies for a hard to fit foot. However, congrats on finding proper footwear!

My foot went up in size but not width. It's now a six D. Six D is hard to find-imagine when I was wearing a 5 1/2 D!
