A soon-to-be DUer friend of mine asked me to post this interesting piece from his blog. He says he's been lurking here a lot, and is thinking about joining in on the fun.

2. Well, I've tried to avoid anything SOTU-related this year, but I finally
had to look and see what a "beer blogger" was.
