Dave Chappelle wants to give his money to charity?
I was screwin' around and forgot to watch Oprah. Did he really say that he'd only come back to the show if DVD sales have a portion of the profits designated for charity?

Please tell me I heard that right. Am I missing something, or am I safe in saying Dave Chappelle is fuckin' fantastic?

Here's what brought this on--Watching Keith, I see two things that piss me off:

1. The commercial for vans featuring "old timey" vans with lasers and planets and wizards airbrushed on them, fountains inside, wall to wall shag, which posists that the Odyssey is the cool grown up futuristic version of these. Where those that once rocked now must roll.

Yeah. Van with a fountain, rotating couch, and the colors, man, the colors. Or a beige Honda.

Come on!

And 2. Part of Countdown about super bowl commercials that ends with something like, After all, millions of dollars are spent on these commercials, (I presume--If I misheard this let me know). So...what? I'm supposed to pay attention because--after all--some company spent it's money on advertising!

The hell do I care? They're supposed to spend money on advertising. It's not amazing to me that they do. They created this one upping beast, and I'm supposed to feel sympathetic if one bombs and doesn't get enough love because--say it with me--after all... I think not. Commercials, while sometimes interesting, aren't the art form I feel like getting all weepy eyed over around the water cooler.

These thoughts are floatin' around and just as I'm concluding--FUCK that--here comes Dave Chappelle essentially saying, fuck that.

So, did I hear him right? Because that would be nice. :D

around today, I only saw the last 15 minutes of Oprah and was it just me or did it seem like he just acted weird on the show I can't put my figure on it, like something was Physically wrong with him?
