Things didn't get interesting until I reached the used CD store. I saw my previous boss and got shit-scared. But kept my cool. Fortunately, he kept his distance, but I can only imagine he'll be his usual slimy self...
But much to my surprise, I stumbled on a song that I had been trying to find since 1992. :eyes: "Hold Me" by Fleetwood Mac. I bought the disc; a "best of" compilation... Along with the 20th century masters collection for Three Dog Night.
I then went to the bookstore. Here's where it gets more interesting. I decided to look for the relationship section. I find the general area and turn around; the first section I find, in big letters, reads "Death and dying". I saw the books "Final Exit" and "Survivors of Suicide" and made them prominent. I turned around and found "Dating for Dummies". The very first page I turn to is that page that says "If the person uses "I-" often, they're self-absorbed. Yuck." Well, I knew there and then that rules me out the running.)
Feeling sickened by witlessly tripping into the "Death" section, for which my heart sank, I left...
Filled up with gass 2 miles from home.
1 mile from home, this jerkwad fucker who'd been at the stop light somehow thought the light turned green (it hadn't) and starts LEISURELY puttering forward as if he's got nothing else better to do. I nearly got into a very nasty accident; I hope the fucker drives off a nearby cliff.
Still, I'm home. Whee.

Some nights it's best to be at home and no where else.
Went into town today to for some errands. THere are miles of country roads here, and my errands took me a way from my home. On the way back some kids (teens)in a minivan started tailgating me...close enough that we could have been parallel parked. They were acting angry...seemed to come out of nowhere. They were weaving all over and acting like they were going to try to bump my car from behind.I started to turn down another country avenue, but they were going to follow me, so I sped up, and they got back on tagging my car's rear end. I saw a highway patrol turn onto another avenue up ahead, and turned that way. They chickened out, and didn't follow me. However, the roads here are on a grid, and I met up with the kids again at a stoplight once I got back into my town. They turned atound and tried following me again. I ditched them by driving and turning through some neighborhoods. Got home and closed the garage door right away.
Somehow, I think they thought I was someone else. Seems there are weird vibes happening right now...strange nights.
Am glad you didn't have to confront your old boss, Hypno, and that you made it home safelyl too

2. Thanks. Very surprising too, given my current state of mind. |

Two or three weeks ago, reality hit me in the face. And she was right.
Didn't know I'd upset her. But I had. Unable to find the original thread either.
The last three days... the last three days. No. I need to atone.
