Six years ago I did something very wrong
Yesterday it caught up with me. Metaphorically, of course. Now I have no way of putting things right.

Any advice?

8. If that person is alive, you can make it right.
If that person has passed, why not make a donation to a charity in their name? When you lick the envelope seal, in that moment, you are placing the past behind you.

11. Agree. If still alive, make ammends. If not the donation.

7. What, in a Karma kind of way then?
What possible situation could it be where an attempt can not be made to put it right or acknowledge it to the person/entity/group of what you did? Knowing it was wrong for six years?

13. This problem is complicated
I have responsibilities now which make making amends nigh impossible. However, I am wracked with guilt and sincerely wish to offer my aplogies to the individual in question.

15. Are you involved in a lawsuit or legal problem of some kind?
If this is the case, perhaps you should go to your lawyer for advice?

10. Zombies?
I had that problem too. You think you've buried a victim's corpse and everything's Kool and the gang, next thing you know, there's some glacially lumbering flesh-eating undead dude trampling all over my gardenias on his way to "exact revenge" on me or whever the hell zombies think they're doing.

I'm not a bigot, but there's one group of people who I just plain hate: Fucking ZOMBIES.

16. An idea came to me today
That maybe I should try to contact the individual I wronged. But I'm afraid to open a can of worms which will prove a bitch to get back in the can.

18. You only have two choices. Live with what you did, or apologize.
Many live with the the thing they do and know it was wrong. You lived with it for six years, another six may not be so bad.

Personally I know of a person who did me an incredible wrong that changed my life. They have no problem or care with it; oddly enough this person is a very strong believer in Karma. Even went to India to study yoga and religion. Go figure.

17. Step 9
Make direct amends to such people whereever possible; except when to do so would injure them or others.

20. I can't tell anyone about this
Except you guys, of course. That's part of the problem. Thought the whole thing was forgotten then all of a sudden I was walking near Red Square yesterday when I caught a glimpse of someone who resembled the individual in question and it all came flooding back. Walked home through the snow feeling distinctly out of sorts. When I arrived home my wife seemed not to notice anything wrong. But I'm quite good at hiding my feelings. Now I think of little else.
