2. Should be interesting to see what he does
I was never a fan, but the guy is pretty friggin' talented and has done some cool stuff through the years.

strange i only listen to live recordings.
he did some 60's- 70's soul n R+B aretha, the jacksons, sly, james brown. he played backup for a chaka wannabe, who wasn't 1/2 bad herself.

7. he did 2 hours straight. i love when he covers old stuff.
he'll do miles davis, ike and tina, and hendrix, old rufus. he goes insane with stuff like that.
but he's got a new album coming out, so this is what we're getting.
he played none of his own stuff thurday night, well maybe one song.
he let the woman tamar do her thing.
