Hard drive, soft drive.

Hard drive: My first hard drive was 30MB. My current drive is 160GB. Nuff said.

Soft drive (AKA "floppy" drive): 5 1/4" drive was the drive of choice 17 years ago. The 3 1/2" drive replaced it. Now, many newer machines, eliminate the floppy altogether, relying on the CD drive.
