What do you think of the Rolling Stones Super Bowl T-Shirt?
I wish I knew how to get a picture of the t-shirt posted here, but it is weird. I was wondering if anyone thought the same? If anyone can post picture, please do.

7. mick jagger was a business major at the start of the stones career
or going to economics school or something similar. the whole stones as rebels thing was manufactured by them
as their image. jagger has always been very PR and business-wise. The beatles were lower class working types
and the stones were all higher class kids.

14. One of the things that fueled one of the Mick/Keith spats
was Mick accepting the Knighthood, it disgusted old Keefe.

11. Think they'll sing their recent song
Sweet Neo con?

Oh of course they won't, but bush would get (or give) a bang out of it.
I know you've all heard of it but some lyrics are worth reading again:

You call yourself a Christian
I think that you're a hypocrite
You say you are a patriot
I think that you're a crock of shit

And listen now, the gasoline
I drink it every day
But it's getting very pricey
And who is going to pay

How come you're so wrong
My sweet neo con.... Yeah

It's liberty for all
'Cause democracy's our style
Unless you are against us
Then it's prison without trial

But one thing that is certain
Life is good at Halliburton
If you're really so astute
You should invest at Brown & Root.... Yeah

How come you're so wrong
My sweet neo con
If you turn out right
I'll eat my hat tonight

It's getting very scary
Yes, I'm frightened out of my wits
There's bombers in my bedroom
Yeah and it's giving me the shits

We must have lots more bases
To protect us from our foes
Who needs these foolish friendships
We're going it alone

How come you're so wrong
My sweet neo con
Where's the money gone
In the Pentagon

15. Or how about the one for Lindie?
Dangerous Beauty

In your high school photo
You looked so young and naïve
Now I heard you got a nickname
The lady with the leash

Was it funny on the midnight shift
I bet you had your fair share of stiffs
There were onerous odors
I've got to admit

'Cause you're a dangerous, dangerous
A dangerous beauty
So plainfully plain to us
You're doing your duty

Who you got there in that hood, you look so fancy in those photographs
With your rubber gloves on you're a favorite with the Chiefs of Staff

You're doing such a wonderful job
You're a natural at working with dogs
Keeping everyone awake at night
With a touch of the prods

Well you're a dangerous, dangerous
A dangerous beauty
Yeah, disdainfully, painfully
A bit of booty, yeah

You're a dangerous, dangerous
A dangerous beauty
Beauty

Well you're a dangerous, dangerous
A dangerous beauty
If I was your captain, would you salute me

What I say
Yeah everybody
Beauty
Everybody now, yeah

Are you one bad apple in a box
Yeah, dangerous
Dealing out electric shocks
I've seen the gloves coming off
Dangerous
If looks could be killing, I bet you shoot me now

12. Why I always prefered the Stones,
even as a teenager back then. Tell it like it is, Mick! Same for Ray Davies of the Kinks, although his lyrics had a definite British slant to things.

about so many things that are happening today. MKJ

on edit, a portion of lyrics from "This Is Radio Clash"

You don’t need that funeral shroud

Forces have been looting
My humanity
Curfews have been curbing
The end of liberty

Hands of law have sorted through
My identity
But now this sound is brave
And wants to be free - anyway to be free

This is radio clash on pirate satellite
This is not free europe
Noh an armed force network
This is radio clash using audio ammunition
This is radio clash can we get that world to listen?
This is radio clash using aural ammunition
This is radio clash can we get that world to listen?
This is radio clash on pirate satellite
Orbiting your living room,
Cashing in the bill of rights
This is radio clash on pirate satellite
This is radio clash everybody hold on tight

A-riggy diggy dig dang dang

Go back to urban ’nam

or this, from "White Man in Hammersmith Palais"

White youth, black youth
Better find another solution
Why not phone up robin hood
And ask him for some wealth distribution

Punk rockers in the uk
They won’t notice anyway
They’re all too busy fighting
For a good place under the lighting

The new groups are not concerned
With what there is to be learned
They got burton suits, ha you think it’s funny
Turning rebellion into money

All over people changing their votes
Along with their overcoats
If adolf hitler flew in today
They’d send a limousine anyway

I’m the all night drug-prowling wolf
Who looks so sick in the sun
I’m the white man in the palais
Just lookin’ for fun

I’m only
Looking for fun
