"Sims" creator Will Wright working on something even stranger...
If you thought "The Sims" was a wildly creative game design, wait 'til you see what Mr. Wright is working on next:

It's a long article, but well worth the read. This guy is more ambitious than Peter Molyneux.

1. Will Wright is a gaming saint.
Absolutely fucking amazing.

I would highly encourage any anti-gaming people to read that article.

Stunning depth. Wow.

2. I have to admit, I haven't played any of his games yet.
Typically, I only play RPGs, MMORPGs, and Sid Meier's Civilization series (Sid Meier is God, and I will kill anyone who says different).

11. LOL....
I have the OE civ from 1991, first release with all the back door editing codes still unlocked.....

It's come a long way from those icon blocks that were your units. Long live Civ (I can't wait to get my hands on Civ 4) :)

12. Civ 4 rules my universe
However, although I'm sure you've read about the steep hardware requirements, one thing you may not know is that Civ 4 is a major memory hog. If you prefer huge maps, consider 1.5 GB of RAM the bare minimum.

15. That's great!
Just make sure you get 1.5GB - 2GB before you try to install the game, unless you are the warmonger type and prefer smaller maps.
