I'm thinking of growing my hair long - how should I do it?
My hair is at Beatle-moptop length. I want it to get like this.

But I don't want a mullet, or any type of scraggly haircuts.

I also hope to avoid shelling out $10 a month for hairdressers, who always cut it shorter than I would like.

Any advice?

2. I have notice a lot of young guys are going shaggy these days.
A sign of the times I suppose. I am glad I don't have that worry anymore. My hair is going away! I just buzz my hair now!

3. Trim your ends once a month (1/4 in) and then twist 2 inch sections

and trim along the length to get rid of stray splits. Wash and condition every other day. :hi: Only use the conditioner on the ends. go to GNC and get the "mega" vitamins. They work awesome. :hi:

5. MrsG!
I wish I had someone to do my hair for me :( My hair was all falling out after my surgery, I think it's stopped now, but my once LONG and THICK hair is now shoulder length and wispy, definately receded a bit. I need help ..sheesh :)

6. Awww...aA.
 If I were closer we would do weekly scalp treatments. If you have a beauty school around you, they offer them usually for pretty cheap! :hi:  Good to see you! I'm off for a bit now.

4. Let it grow for about 3 months, then go get a good shaping
by a good stylist and show him/her what you're aiming for. I'm doing the same thing and the stylist I went to shaped it so that in 6 months it will need another trim.
