That was the most memorable Super Bowl in NFL history... |
|
I think the NFL gained fans tonight with that nailbiter.
John Madden, please just STFU. Your presence in the booth nearly made the whole affair seem very unspecial.
And, oh, by the way, the referees got jobbed by the Seahawks fans. Almost every big play by the Seahawks got called back with a deserved, yet close, penalty.

Well, you have your opinion I suppose. The best, closest, and one of the better played Super Bowls was St. Louis vs. Tennessee which literally ended about a foot from the goal line on a last second tackle by a Rams defender. This one was ok, but not terribly well played. Stevens should be ashamed of himself, dropping three easy passes and going down without a fight on the next to last play of the game. edited because of too much big game which leads to poor typing.

TO A DUEL!
Just kidding.
Seriously though. Do you honestly think that you could get 60,000 Bengals fans together, have them drink for 4-6 hours straight, and then ask them for a moment of silence and they'd all be completely quiet?
If so then you are either 1) Crazy or 2) Lying
;)
At the party I was at we commented on how lame it is that people can't be silent, but also talked about how there is always a few people who yell. Always. Everywhere.
It's just how it is. It sucks, but people, all people, are dumb. You, me, them. All of us. We're dumb monkeys who like to scream and shout and wave at shiny objects.

7. The refs were the most corrupt and biased I've ever seen |
|
against the Seattle Sea Hawks. Check other threads here.
The refs wouldn't allow the Sea Hawks to win. If the SB doesn't clean up their bias by the refs, few will remain as fans.

9. I don't know if it was bias or just bad officiating. |
|
This postseason has seen some of the worst officiating ever. Sadly, the Super Bowl fell victim to it as well. So many bad calls, I don't even know where to start....
