My husband and my son both have food poisoning.
and, no, they didn't get it from anything I made. They ate at a Chinese restaurant yesterday. I WAS going to have the carpets cleaned. This is very inconsiderate of them.

2. Oh, no!
That happened to my sister, brother and me once when my mother went away to state teachers' meeting and left our dad in charge of meal preparation. :scared:

Hope they all get better soon, so that you can get your carpets cleaned, Midlodemocrat. :pals:

4. They are both very, very sick to their stomachs
nausea, cramping, the whole shebang.

I think my son has taken 8 showers in the last 10 hours.

7. Guess I don't have food poisoning, then. Wonder what it is...
Then again, probably best to just leave this discussion right here. :)

5. I got it once at camp
Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in 1978. I was so sick, and so were a lot of other kids. Being kids, we shook it off relatively quickly.

My symptoms were nausea and fainting.

6. This, too, shall pass.
Been there...done that. It's horrible but should be over relatively soon.

Call the restaurant.

8. The only bright side is that my FIL doesn't appear to have it.
My husband and son had the wonton soup, he had hot and sour.

How in God's name could hot soup be causing this?

They are much better this morning. Classic food poisoning.

in her lifetime. Once during the time that she was breastfeeding :scared:

She obviously never steps foot in one any more.

Could you name names, or at least give some topical geography to "localize" said establishment?

17. I pity them. Its the worst. I caught it 2x from Chinese
It was bad chicken in my case, I am sure. I had to go to the hospital for dehydration. I am reformed. I will not eat anything off a truck or that may be slightly off.
