This is probably the nicest January-February stretch I've ever seen in MN |
|
It's really remarkable. That's all--go about your business. :hi:

1. something i was thinking about after receiving my last gas bill... |
|
my bill says that the last billing cycle was 8 degrees warmer than the same cycle last year. this year i have plastic on the older windows of the house that are kind of drafty. last year i did not.
The bill shows i'm using way less gas than last year, but the bill was 20% more than last year's.
so, although the warm winter has me wondering *why?*, i'm thinking what the bill could have been if the temperature were more typical for winter in New England.

4. We are having thunderstorms in Mississippi today.... |
|
It's been a very mild winter, even by Mississippi standards. I really hope that this cold front that's coming is cold. Except that heating my home is costing a fortune.

Three years ago was the coldest I've ever been walking between classes EVER. For the first thirty minutes of lecture my phalanges just ached.
