I believe in me, and that's better than any anthropomorphized fairy tale "God" doing so. I am, after all, human, aren't I? My soul is as powerful as the ocean, as the forest, as this "god" of whom you speak.
Sorry. I'm beginning to think I'm a pantheist. ;)

6. That depends upon what you believe! |
|
If one does not believe in God, then what is there (in terms of God) to believe back in them?
It also depends on what your defintiion of "God" is. I have a very loose definition, meaning that I think all faiths are basically believing in the same idea of a supreme being, but we don't all go about practicing our faiths in the same way. So, does a Buddist believe in God... well, not the same way I do, but however they frame their faith, there is soemthing they believe. Faith, by definition, isn't one-sided. So yes, whatever people put their faith in, they must feel a rewarding comfprt in that... be it God or whatever... even the Flying Speghetti Monster! :P
Anyway, I charge big bucks for my psychoanalysis... I'll be sending you my bill! :P

12. To "believe in" is to assume separation from. |
|
God just IS, regardless of my personal belief on the matter.
