For fellow Sim Lovers...Sims 2 that is! |
I have a couple that have to have six kids get married for the lifetime aspiration and I had a nanny at one point but she wound up just wandering around stinking and crying and I could not do anything to talk to her to stop her from being lonely or get her a bed to use or anything.
If I get another nanny (my sims currently have three babies and a toddler with the expectation they are going to have two more babies fairly soon) how do I make sure that does not happen?

3. no no, I want them to have more babies...not the ten that is currently |
on their dial but all six who grow up, become adults, and get married so my sims can have seven million grandbabies.

2. Nanny's are nearly useless in my experience. |
I usually have an extra family member take care of the babies. Or you can use cheats :)

4. Cheats? Do tell! I want one cheat that keeps them from having to |
have their needs filled until the babies are all children.

the easiest way to do that is to unlock Beta testing mode, which is Ctrl + C to get the cheat window up, and then boolprop testingcheatsenabled true There's lots of nifty stuff to do with it, and there are several guides online on how to fully use it

6. I did that once and it pretty much killed one of my characters... |
I did try to find out how to use it though.

The first will max every sim's needs. The second will keep the need decay on or off. Edit: Here are a bunch of other cheats: http://www.snootysims.com/sims2cheats.php

9. Ugh. That's one of the random moments in the Sims. |
You may have to get one of your sims to call off in the mean time to take care of the babies. Also, your mother Sim should have more maternity leave time coming to her if she is currently pregnant.

11. I had to destroy the house to get her to go away. But my sims are |
currently unemployed since I wanted them to be at 100% on everything before I sent them off into the world.

12. Update! The sixth and final baby is on it's way! |
The names of the children are:
Catherine Edward (after the real life version of the daddy sim's father) Clara Marshall (after George Marshall) Wellstone (after Paul Wellstone)
The last one might be truman...any suggestions?
