I just got the album Live It Out by the relatively new band Metric. I love this stuff. Some great lyrics, like the one above about our enslavement to our own possessions. I first saw them on Conan O'Brien when they sang the song Monster Hospital with the line "I fought the war and the war one." Catchy stuff. Apparently they opened for some of the Stones concerts on this tour. A little like Garbage. Any other fans?
