1. There are a few on there I'd like to never hear again
BREAKING NEWS (Overused. Jessica Simpson's divorce, Katie Holmes' pregnancy and the 200th announcement about where they are in the Natalee Holloway case do not qualify as "Breaking News".)

TALKING POINTS (Enough said)

HOLIDAY TREE (I'm an atheist and I call it an effing Christmas tree)

5. Meh
I sent "able to" to LSSU two years in a row ('03 and '04) and they never put it in the list, so they can bite me. :grr:

12. The dreaded "Poser" mobile commercials.

13. "Re-double our efforts"
this is usually used by RWers when talking about something they have nothing about:

"Re-double our efforts to improve education"

Ironically, it can easily be true. If they put out zero effort and then double it (which is necessary before RE-doubling) then double it again... it is still ZERO effort.

0 x 2 x 2 = 0

I don't know why but I find that irritating. "pricey" and "spendy" should also be banished

16. "Me likey"
or "Me no likey". I don't know why, but that drives me crazy. I see that more online than spoken aloud, but it still grates.
