this is usually used by RWers when talking about something they have nothing about:

"Re-double our efforts to improve education"

Ironically, it can easily be true. If they put out zero effort and then double it (which is necessary before RE-doubling) then double it again... it is still ZERO effort.

I don't know why but I find that irritating. "pricey" and "spendy" should also be banished
