Please. You're only encouraging them. The days of superlative remakes (Philip Kaufman's "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"; John Carpenter's "The Thing"; "The Fly") are long past.

All I know is: when some vile studio decides to bankroll a "Jaws" retread, I'm going on a murder spree.
