He seems very grandfatherly, but he's a bit of a loony, IMHO. It's pretty hard to believe anybody in this day and age (and in this country) would support bloodsports.

14. Great, I just got back from dinner with Dad at his favorite Iranian Deli.

We ate really well. I paid sneakily, and the owner, who knows us, snuck me a napoleon pastry to give to him. When Dad tried to leave a cash tip (I'd alreaddy tipped on my card), Parveneh practically tackled him to get him to close his wallet. It was a mad, super chase to watch.
