The guy in the commercial who parachutes to his car after leaving
his white picket fenced home in the morning...has anyone else wondered how he gets back up to the house at night after work?

3. I hate that commercial
Wifey kisses him good-bye for the day...so how the fuck does she get anywhere? Is she stuck like Rapunzel in the castle tower (she does have longish blonde hair), while her knight goes out on a tear across the rough (and dangerous, implied)country to slay the dragons on Wall Street?

Who the hell keeps his SUV so clean every day. It's standing in the desert and fucking PRISTINE!

How the hell does that SUV not collect lots of dirt and dust as it races across the desert terrain?

Does this X-treme Sports SUV owner/driver also have a helicopter to take him back home at night?

And like I am so going to so believe the jumper in a biz suit can make a perfect no-dust landing right beside his car every morning. Sure...just has to brush off those natty lapels, and he's good to go.

Hey, you people who dream up these ads! I am not a MORAN!

6. The only thing worthy would be a jetpack
but all in all, it's a really really dumb ad.

8. And still allow him to keep the little woman stranded in the
white picket fence house.

If you think about it, there really are a lot of chauvinistic undertones. Maybe we should write some hot letters. :patriot: :silly:

14. No, I think the point of the advertisers is to get us all to keep thinking
about these dumb ads. Funny thing, though, as often as I've seen it, I can't for the life of me remember now what it advertises. I suppose a car, but no clue which one. :hi:

16. See, that's exactly it.
Commercials are supposed to make us think of the product they're selling - even if we're annoyed by and hate the commercial, the brand is supposed to stick in our heads.

This one misses the mark. I couldn't tell you which vehicle it's for either.

17. you're right
What's funny is with most commercials I see anymore, I can't remember what they are for, just what was in the commercial. Without a catchy jingle with the brand name, I won't remember.
I think they are all trying way too hard nowadays. Then again I don't watch more than an hour or two of tv a night. :).

12. Yes, I have.
I think maybe somebody else parks the car for him and he skydives home at night :P

Either that or he has a bat-elevator in the cliff :)

and if a 5 and 7 year old know how stupid that commercial is, well, 'nuff said.
