ATTENTION GOPISEVIL: Injury Alert ( and where have you been?)

Okay, so right now I'm sporting no less than 4 burns on my hands.

Well, fingers.

See, I've been cooking. A LOT.

I discovered how to use the rotisserie in my oven. Rotisserie chicken with potatoes cooked in the drippings is now a family favorite. However the side of the oven whilst turning those potatoes over is responsible for one major scorch along the top of a finger.

The chocolate suicide cookes are responsible for the fingers that got dipped into boiling water. The skin on the tops of those fingers is now peeling off in dried little sheets. VERY pleasant.

The chocolate chip cookies (newly updated recipe, add more flour, use ice cold butter, keep chilled) are responsible for a NASTY burn on the right thumb knuckle on the top of the oven. I actually heard the SSSSS and saw smoke and smelled the burning flesh on that one. MAJOR OUCHIES.

I have one more I honestly don't recall from which meal. Ring finger, long scorch.

But, dammit, the food's been REALLY REALLY GOOD!

It's worth it really.

I won't even MENTION how much my ass and thighs hurt from lunges and working out. That's a WHOLE NUTHER world of hurt.

Hey, I want kitchen injury stories!!!! I always worry I will drop a knife on one of the damn dogs, has that ever happened to anyone, heaven forbid?
