Joined Weight Watchers today.
I've let the weight get away from me for the past couple of years now and I'd love to wear some of my old clothes. I went to a meeting today and joined up. I can no longer use the excuse of baby weight since my "baby" is in kindergarten!
Anyone have any good experiences w/ WW?

1. My mother lost 80 pounds between WW and regular exercise classes
I will always wonder if she could have kept the weight off but I will never know since she passed away last year. (I'd like to think that she would have finally stuck with it. :) Now if only _I_ would do it and stop self-destructing with food.)

If you want any of the Flex Points or Core info for their diets just pm me and I will gladly pass it along.
I'm paying for it,might as well share it w/ others.

4. *g* My mother did that for me. I dunno if they have updated anything
in the past 18 months or not but at least I have the booklet that tells me points per serving. Now if I would just _use_ the darned thing again.

7. They also have a Core program now too.
I think I like the Flex points better. I can keep track of them easy enough but our leader said she lost hers on Core (almost 100 lbs!).

3. I joined when I was a kid and lost 30lbs
The program has really changed since then but there is one key element that hasn't changed. Going in every week and weighing in. That really helps keep you on track and on your diet. Plus the groups can be a lot of fun.

I never had luck with weight watchers, but that was many years ago. I believe it was Lavendardiva who posted the www.fitday.com site, and I've lost almost 25 lbs just from tracking my calories and activity at that site alone. Best, it's free!!

I always forget about that forum since I'm mostly here, GD (I know-bad girl!) and in my state forum.
I went w/ WW because my cousin lost 140 lbs there and has kept it off for eight years. I don't have as much to lose and I figure if she did it then I can lose mine!
