foot! In fact, I own no T.V. at all, which does not bother me OR make me proud either.

So the question:

How many T.V.s do you own?

Edited: Dang, the "0" in the poll did not show up. Yet another oddity on D.U. Lets see if this fixes it....

Edited again: Yay! put a "." after the "0"!

have old T.V.'s, and some (ahem) have none at all. So what?

17. So, lie and say you only have 1 if you have more than 1.
I promise I won't check :eyes:

Owning more than 1 T.V. should not be a crime (or a sin, whatever).

I don't have one, but I don't feel that people who have more than one are BAD people.

Do a lot of others here really feel that way?

9. We have three...
but one of them is a Sears TV and the manufacturing date on the back is 1974--older than me! It works rather well for its age, and is in the kitchen. We don't really watch it because we don't spend alot of time in the kitchen, but sometimes if I'm making dinner I'll put it on the news and listen to the news.

It has one of those old-time cable converter switches on the back, and it used to be my grandparent's, then they gave it to me about 15 or so years ago and I've had it since. It used to have my Nintendo hooked up to it. We have the cable attached to it now, but you have to go through the VHF/UHF channels to get anything, and you can only get a few channels that are really fuzzy.

I think if the tube ever went out, I'd pay to get it fixed. I couldn't throw it away. It'd be like throwing away a part of the family!

The other two---one's in the middle room---we only use it at night to have the TV on when we're in bed, then the huge one in the living room--huge as in old and large. I'd like to get rid of it one day. It's too much of a pain in the ass to move...

it's already what...32? I turn 30 in less than a month, so the TeeVee doesn't have that much above me :)

I have a feeling that TV will outlive me. I forsee it being the prize heirloom of my estate....

32. I know. I feel half dead
My 33 year old husband says that 30 isn't that bad (even though he wept like a small child on the eve of his) and everyone OVER 30 tells me to stop my whinin and get with the agin'.

30 is such a responsible age. I'm not out of school, even! I feel like at 30, I should suddenly start to "act my age"---the thought of which makes me retch. Ugh. now I'll REALLY get the "So, when are you two gonna have a kid/buy a house/get a real job/etc" questions like never before....

33. Actually, I have found that I am an adherent of the "You are
only as old as you think" school, because that is how I happen to live. I think of myself (in my mind I am) 18-21, so that is my mental image of myself, even though I am really 41 and have started to get aches and pains and such nonsense...

I got custody of the 22" in my divorce, and it's the only set I own.

And most of the time, it's only used to watch movies and videos.

I like watching TV. If it makes you feel better then me because you don't.. Great. I don't really give a fuck. And typing that might make it seem like I do care. But, really, I don't.

I like rap music too.. And pizza.

36. I've never paid more than $100 for a TV
As far as I'm concerned, it's just a monitor for showing my DVDs.

Computer monitors, on the other hand, are something I'm willing to splurge on. I *heart* my 19" LCD.

43. 3 TVs, 3 VCRs, a Playstation and an X-Box.
None of the TV's are very fancy or expensive. One 19" no frills TV dates from the early 1990s. One is a 2 year old 19" stereo TV. The other one is an all white compact combination TV/VCR/FM radio/alarm clock set in my stepdaughter's room. We play DVDs through the Playstation
