I got laid off yesterday.

Just got the job in May, first FT job I'd found in a long time. Great workplace, good people. Apparently, they've been losing money for quite some time--too much money--so they laid off 20% of the workforce. Now I have to go through all the job-hunting crap, and the having-no-money crap, for who knows how long in this bush economy. This sucks.

7. Fortunately, they did.

I'm getting 3 months pay, and since I haven't even been there a year, that's pretty good. (But it will cost me about $400/month to continue my health insurance through cobra.) They're good people, it's just an unfortunate situation.
