I, on the other hand, have always been a bit of a loner, and an outsider. I have gotten used to that, and it is fine. I have fun here in the Lounge, which is good enough.

I have no clue what is the 'in' crowd nor do I have any clue about nor sense any 'cliques.' I'm mostly posting during the DU daytime, and personally I might know 3 or 4 people on here a bit more profound; and that's it. I like DU and am no afraid of posting here; perhaps not being involved in anything that might/might not going on behind the curtains helps me for that. I enjoy DU and most of the people posting here (you highly included), but I really think it's my attitude of not getting involved behind the curtains that keeps me the one who I am and posting as who I am, without boundaries, if you will.

I was a loner/outsider for over 30 years, and it wasn't always pleasant, but in the end it made me the one I am now, and I try to be compassionate and free of judgement.

There is no 'in' crowd, believe me. And if, who really cares? Enjoy DU, enjoy the Lounge, ahve fun, and I'm honored if I can have some fun together with you from time to time. Don't restrict yourself, it's not worth it; you're a great human being too and reading your posts always gives me an insight of something else. So, we're both 'in.' Here.
