2. I would love the Olympics moer if I could find an NBC-Free version of it

they ruin it by having too many commericials, too many special interest shows and only showing the American athletes and maybe 1-2 of the top names competing in the sport that they are showing!

It'll probably be all ski events, all the time, interspersed with random soccer discussion, but whatever. :P

11. memory Lane.. I worked with an Italian woman when he was racing

We would listen to the RADIO coverage of it at work and chant "Tomba-Tomba-Tomba", and this middle-aged mother of 4 (my friend) would fairly swoon :)

Americans might have been racing too , but we only had eyes for Tomba!

I'm practically counting the hours to the broadcast of the OC.

And God help anyone who interrupts me and my figure skating. Mr.Wonderful's already been warned about the big screen TV and the surround sound system.

At least I won't have to put up with him during the Ladies events. He's leaving for Ireland on the 19th, so I get to watch without listening to his inane comments.

We usually have a party for th OC, but not this year. Thankfully, my Mr. Wonderful is off to the movies, so I'll be able to watch them in peace. :)
