My wife and I are going to see Rick Springfield tonight!

At the Grand Opera House in Wilmington. Should be a good time. We've seen him twice before, and he puts on an excellent show. Saw him do a New Year's Eve show in Atlantic City a few years back, and he got a woman up on stage, and had her friend sing "Affair Of The Heart" over the cell phone.

Rick Springfield haters, piss off. He's got loads of excellent pop songs.

3. I saw him in the 80s at Castle Farms in Charlevoix, MI

I parked cars so I could see the show for nothing. My roommate and I were avid Springfield fans from watching him on General Hospital...

From what I can remember, the show was great. But what I really remember is that Castle Farms security took all the booze people tried to sneak in, tossed in trash cans that had been filled with ice, and then the staff had a huge party after the show ended! I think we got home at 4 a.m....
