Any Other Pink Panther Fans?
Which one is your favorite.

And which one should I go rent for tomorrow?

I have to admit that those movies make me laugh until I'm sick.

Which one has the scene where the ninja killer gets mixed up in the fights between Inspector and his Korean houseboy? That movies is so funny that I almost died in the middle of it.

1. A shot in the dark
probably the funniest of the whole series. Peter Sellers was a comic genius.

2. Oh, thank you.
I'm out after it. I am just dying to see that movie again. I love that whole ninja scene.

3. Sorry
A shot in the dark is just my favorite, it does not have the ninja scene. I dont think Cato is even in it.

I beleive the one your looking for is "Revenge of.." came out around 1977.

4. Steve Martin's Cleauseau
I've seen the trailers of Steve Martin's Pink Panther. Sadly, he can't hold a candle to Peter Sellers.

6. There is only one Cleauseau
Peter Sellers. I think Martin had a lot of nerve accepting that role.

24. I'm probably older than you
when Soap was popular, I was working nights (with a carnival). There's several years worth of tv programs I've never even heard of.

20. Didn't Roberto "Chair Climber" Benigni take on the role at one point?

8. Worst...casting... decision...ever.
Robin Williams could do Clouseau. It'd be different, but Robin Williams could pull it off. Kevin Kline could probably do a passable job, and I still wonder how this guy can be in the same movie and NOT play Clouseau. Steve Martin's French accent sounds as stupid as it did on his LP "A Wild And Crazy Guy" over a quarter century ago. He should stick to those old-fashioned family comedies like "Cheaper By The Dozen."

But there will NEVER be another Peter Sellers.

21. Peter Sellers was a genius
He was a miserable unhappy guy from what I understand but the man was an amazing talent.

'A Shot in the Dark' is my favorite in the series.

My list:

1. A Shot in the Dark (1964)
2. The Pink Panther (1963)
3. The Revenge of the Pink Panther (1978)
4. The Return of the Pink Panhter (1975)
5. The Pink Panther Stikes Again (1976)
6. Inspecter Clouseau (1968) (Clouseau is played by Alan Arkin and the film is not directed by Edwards)
7. Son of the Pink Panther (Roberto Benigni plays Clouseau Jr.)
8. Curse of the Pink Panther (Ted Wass plays a detective who is searching for the missing Clouseau.)
9. Trail of the Pink Panther (Just a mess. Created by using previously unseen clips of Sellers who died in 1980.)

I obviously haven't seen the Steve Martin film yet and am not willing to make an advance judgement. But I'm sure I will see it soon.
