Bob Mould remade Hüsker Dü's "New Day Rising" - tell me I'm wrong.

Listen to cut #5 on his new one, "Body of Song", and then go ahead and try and tell me "Underneath Days" isn't a refashioning of the Dü's crushing titular 1990 battle cry. I dare you.

(It is also the brightest statement I've yet to hear against the rampant anti-gay marriage zealotry that so many politicians are trying to moralize into the system)
