Why do fathers walk around in their underwear?

1. Oh man that is so gross he still does it..

My neighbor came in one day and he was running from the kitchen into the bedroom (passing the front door & living room) so she didnt see him in his undies :rofl: she still jacks him about it.

3. My favorite memory is bringing a friend home, to see

my dad in front of the bedroom window, using a circular saw in his underwear.

In all fairness, he worked 2nd shift, and was about to get in the shower when my mom asked him to saw something. But still, quite a moment.

2. Yes, he did!

Usually in the summer when he would work in the garden, then come in about 2:30 - 3:00 and take a shower then sit around in his underware to cool off. :-) He worried me because, especially in later years, his face was a horrible purple red. It would take him a couple of hours to return to a normal hue. Turns out to have been justified. He never did get his BP under control. *sigh*

22. one night, several of us were sitting around a friend's house talking

me and three of my sisters and my brother.

We were all sitting on our friend's parents car.

I was about 10.

It got late, and my dad came looking for us.

In his underwear!!

We were around the street from our house.

Our friends used to rag on us about that all the time.

It was pretty funny.

In fact, he chased a burglar down the street in his underwear at 3 o'clock in the morning when I was about 15. I was horrified.

and she says I didn't.
I didn't think I had, but my memory is not nearly as good as hers is.

What I did do is not make a big deal about it if our daughter happened to walk in and see me nude while changing clothes or in the shower or whatever.

We have enough hangups about nude bodies without getting all hysterical about it.

It's usually because I forgot to wash my other pair of pants. Guilty.

My dad had Alzheimer's and he walked around with his package open. I had to tell him he was scaring the ladies (Mom, wife, daughter).

I miss my dad. He was funny as hell.
