ZombieNixon's 3-Step Guide to Combatting Depression:
1. Host a pity party in the DU Lounge
I had one yesterday that extended on into this morning. I won't post a link because it sleeps with the fishes, as it should. :evilfrown: Those of you who read/posted in it know what I'm talking about.

2. Buy a new shirt.

$20 at Target! And it was a two-story Target with a cool conveyor belt to move your cart between floors! It was an exciting experience! :bounce:

3. Wear the new shirt to dinner at a superfantabulous Italian restaurant.
O! M! F! G! The Italian Village: upper story of 71 W. Monroe in the Chicago Loop! O-M-F-G! A-fucking-mazing!! There was a super-hot waitress (sadly not ours), too! My bill came to about $30, but TOTALLY WORTH IT!!! :bounce:

Mmm...tomorrow, orange chicken in Chinatown!

I can't say everything's all better, because I still have a lot of shit to work through, but I don't feel like curling up in the fetal position and sucking my thumb anymore. Plus, I look good in my new shirt!

12. That's true,
but woman retail therapy and dude retail therapy are two completely different animals: we don't do the whole hardcore thing...one or two items ans we're out of there. :D

13. Lightweights
You can't really cure the depression until after you've scored the perfect outfit and accessories. On sale.

It's in the girl handbook.
