23. If she were having a Shrubbie day, |
|
she would have said that Lee jumped into her bullet while she was trying, actually, to liberate him, and that she needs a bigger armament budget to ensure that it doesn't happen again, and that it was the fault of the liberal terrorists, and the fault of the bad intelligence that she given by the intelligence operatives who were appointed by the previous adminstration, even though they weren't, and then she'd say that Lee wasn't shot, but that he was the first lucky recipient of the fleet's new "officer lead introduction program".

7. Probably saving for more end of year screen time |
|
There will probably some power struggle at the top soon. They do have to distribute screen time over the season with plots.

Now *Lee* gets near-mortally wounded?
What is this, the season-with-someone-perpetually-near-death?
Oh, and now Billy is killed.

12. What was that final bit with Sharon? |
|
I turned away for just a moment... something I've learned I shouldn't do with BG because things move fast and there is no exposition to be found anywhere (which is how far more shows should do it)...
I saw her on a table - was that the dead sharon Adama used as a decoy, come to life?
Or the Sharon in the cell?
What the fuck?!?!

In the preview for next week.
We have not seen Billy that much this season, maybe the actor wanted to move on.
Edit: Or else Billy is one of the still unaccounted for Cylon models.

14. Yeah, isn't that something - major adama! |
|
And a week after being almost fatally shot as well.
Too bad about Billy - I liked the character a lot.
But maybe the actor is pulling a Wil Wheaton move - "I can do movies, so I'm outta here; whoops, no I can't."

I hope that doesn't mean he's pulling a Wil Wheaton. I like the guy! I hope he's leaving the show just for the simple reason that they killed him. Or that he's a cylon, and he'll be back.

I'm ignoring Battlestar threads because I've only seen the first half of the first episode and I know I need to see the entire first season (or at least ~should~ see it) before watching the new ones.
so, i'm gonna hide this thread, and rabrrrrrr's thread too

in order or be lost on many things. It truly builds upon itself week after week.... And you do have to start at the miniseries.

20. And I've found I need to watch many of them at least twice. |
|
That's the beauty of watching a TV show that's actually written well - you have to pay attention; no wastsing 60% of the show on constant exposition and rehashing of who people are.

I want to see Dee get smoked in the next major Cylon attack/bombing/whatthefuckever.
Fucking bitch. I liked Billy.
Hope someone goes "Hey, you know, if you hadn't decided to go for Mr. Hero Adama in the first place, Billy might not have gotten himself killed trying to impress you," within an episode or two. Preferably Starbuck.
Also, Roslin's just lost one of her better advisors-if that doesn't make for some interesting problems in the next few episodes, I'll eat steel.

but she is there for a purpose sometime in the future. The writers will pull the trigger at the right time when we least expect it.
