Anyone listening to Brian Williams's insipid commentary... |
|
... as he co-narrates the Olympic games opening ceremony? He feels the need to opine on each nation's "status" as viewed through his cloudy ideological lens. It's getting annoying.

was covering... the winning coach jumped in the water to celebrate. He was not an attractive guy, especially with wet clothes sticking to his shapeless torso and his hair a mess... Costas remarks, "We've all learned a valuable Olympic lesson, when you look like that and you are on TV with a billion viewers, stay out of the pool. IT CRACKED ME UP. I like Bob. He is congenial, funny and very steady.

8. That was probably the plan |

to put Williams there as a "stern father" to the rest of the world that they had better toe the line or else.

2. I have chosen not to watch the opening ceremonies |
|
Because of the insipid commentary.
I wish someone would broadcast it without, so I can watch and draw my own conclusions.

it is all SciFi right now (BSG), and Williams can stick it. Costas is still pretty even keeled.

I turned off the sound. He was propagandizing and touting the coalition who are fighting the "Iraq war" with the U.S. How can he say that without sobbing? The coalition is occupying iraq, imprisoning the people, and killing its citizens. It's a purge, not a war.

Do you all want Katie Couric back. I wish to have ABC back cover the games.
