How come that when I'm beginning to like the guy he's fucking everything again and I dislike him again ? The writers are sadists damn-gambit!

going to be there. The producers have admitted that they make it up as they go along (NYT).

They(the writers) did the same thing with the Xfiles and it lasted almost a decade.I'm expecting great things from the writers of Lost(Hey it's just entertainment).

7. The difference betwee X files and Lost is the contained world of |
|
Lost. It makes a tougher tightrope for producers/writers to walk. X Files, due to its classic investigative/cop show format format comfortably veers off the core plotlines (Mulder looking for his sis, Scully's sickness and the other two or three) and deal with all sorts of aliens/unexplained stuff etc. Lost, as good as it is (and it really is good sometimes)is stuck with answering pressing questions within the confines of the island, the castaway's dillemas and their back stories. It's much more rigid. And the geography is very repetitive. I am afraid they have written themselves into a corner and would like to be proven wrong. I doubt Lost will play as good in syndication as X Files. I doubt it will reach 100 episodes. Nevertheless, it is good TV.
