Cartoon Characters you have a crush on
For me, it'd have to be Maggie from Love & Rockets. She's adorable in all her incarnations.

Damn, felt good to get that off my chest.

What about you guys?

But, on the other hand, I like Morpheus' sister, Death, and Crazy Jane from Doom Patrol.

21. Faye Whitaker, from QC
from the cast page of the site (www.questionablecontent.net)

"Faye Whitaker
Faye lives with Marten and works in the coffee shop with Dora and Raven. Extremely unwilling to talk about her past. Her father apparently died some time ago. Has suspicious scar across her chest. Violent tendencies. Often defensive and/or derisive and/or just generally a smarty-pants. It is somewhat unclear whether Marten's feelings for her are requited, or to what extent. Faye has issues."

That Faye.

38. Betty Rubble (but my heart was always with Red from 'Fraggle Rock')
Edited on Sat Feb-11-06 09:17 PM by Monkey see Monkey Do
I'm reminded of this exchange from Red Dwarf (Series 3, Episode 1 - "Backwards")

Lister: D'ya think Wilma's sexy?
Cat: Wilma Flintstone?
Lister: Maybe we've been alone in deep space too long, but every time I see that body, it drives me crazy. Is it me?
Cat: Well, I think in all probability, Wilma Flintstone is the most desirable woman that ever lived.
Lister: That's good. I thought I was going strange.
Cat: She's incredible!
Lister: What d'ya think of Betty?
Cat: Betty Rubble? Well, I would go with Betty... but I'd be thinking of Wilma.
Lister: This is crazy. Why are we talking about going to bed with Wilma Flintstone?
Cat: You're right. We're nuts. This is an insane conversation.
Lister: She'll never leave Fred, and we know it.

Don Blake, the original Thor.

Have them both drop by my place this coming Friday around 9:30.

83. from "The Amazing..." I'm pretty sure. Gwen Stacey is pre-Mary Jane.
I believe it was the Green Goblin himself who did the poor woman in.

What a nefarious bastard the Green Goblin is.

90. Well, good. It's a long, long time since I read it and thought the
Green Goblin was somehow involved.

Appreciate the good headwork you did on this one, sakabatou.

So yeah. I'll take Gwen Stacey and Don Blake.

97. Hm. Thought she died from fright.
I "remember" Spidey's web catching her just before she hit the water only for Spidey to discover she had died of fright from the fall. It played into the idea at the time that people who fell from great heights died of fright before they hit the ground. Could be wrong.

105. I looked it up on Wikipedia
Apparently there is much debate. At the time it wasn't clear, and the Green Goblin himself taunted Spidey that there was nothing he could do from that height. That's where I got the idea, I guess. Later, the writers began to confirm that it was whiplash, though whether that was their original intent is still debated. Spider Man was my favorite comic as a kid (and I, too, had a crush on Gwen), but I haven't read it in decades, so I don't know all the later stuff.

122. Definitely
I think Veronica is a total hottie. I guess I had a little more of a bias towards her 'cause I've always been more of a brown-eyed brunette likin' kind of a guy myself. It's tough, though, 'cause she isn't a very nice person and would probably be a Republican.... if she were, of course, real! haha So that definitely loses her points and gains some for Betty.
