Well my neighbor just came home with his new car and
he spends 40k something on it, convertible mustang with a bunch of stuff in it and he still needs to borrow my lawn mower because he has no cash left to replace his broken one. this is the 4th time in 2 months, this time i told him he needs to buy some gas for it as i am out---which i'm not. He should have gotten normal speakers and he would have had enough $$$ left for a mower.

1. Some people have messed-up priorities.
Then again, I received an electric mower as a house-warming gift. ;)

Then again, I drive a 12-year-old car. :D

2. he's a bit of a keep up with the Jone's type of person and he decided
"It's time for me to have a fun car" No shithead, it's time for you to have a new mower.

3. OK, it's time for me to have a fun car, too. But I make do.
My car is pretty fun anyway.

4. Stop me if I'm wrong but
I think you can get a Mustang with less cash upfront than a mower. :hi:

5. I bought a new car today too!
:bounce:

Don't let him borrow the lawnmower anymore. He shouldn't be buying a car he can't afford when he can't afford to buy or fix a lawnmower.

9. You're right
stop loaning the lawn mower or trade use of his car.

10. My advice exactly!
"Hey, dude, I know that you are probably sick of my asking this, but, you know, I really need to get my hair mussed up and feel like I have a larger penis. It's been at least a week, and my wife has been bugging me about it since Wednesday. Thanks a lot, dude, I owe you one."
