Today was a very good day in Vinyl Record shopping
There has to be about 5-6 of us that meet at this antique shop to go through all those records and the guy keeps adding more each week.

I was lucky to get there first this weeks finds included:

The Beatles - White Album
The Beatle - Yellow Submarine
Iron Butterfly - In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida
Crosby Stills Nash & Young - Deja Vu
Janis Joplin - Pearl

One of our gang found that the local Good Will Thrift shop had a great selection of copy of Pink Floyd's Ummagumma, but by the time I got there the best I could find was some old ELO and War albums.

So it was a good day of shopping. BTW - those Beatles Albums were both in mint condition (the White Album still had the poster inside) and I paid $2 each (Beatles are $2 the rest were 50 cents each)

2. Sweet!
You'll get trashed for "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida," but not by me. It's a classic.

For those who say otherwise probably think Brittney Spears and In'Sync is the epiphany of great music

12. "Heavy" is rarer - it's their first

It is basically their performance set that they built up their audience with - including the "Iron Butterfly Theme" which was just that.

They toured relentlessly back then. Lived in my neighborhood.
EXCELLENT West Coast psychedelia.

4. You should have been at the Estate sale I dropped in on today..
Vinyl with the plastic film still on some of the covers. I thought, "that is somebody's dream find!".

For myself it was the vintage earrings.
