The Blizzard of 2006 in Seagate, Brooklyn. MANY PICTURES
Edited on Sun Feb-12-06 06:21 PM by BrklynLiberal
2 feet measured in Central park. I live near the ocean, so we got the worst of the wind with drifts up to 4 feet right near my house.

The only sun we saw all day was at sunset. That is the ocean between the sun and the snow.

A winter wonderland for sure

Just be careful of falling snow

I had to dig a path in order to take my dog for a walk

I have some PAWFriendly Ice Melt for the steps

A neighbor has a snowplow attachment

Looking down the steps of my porch

1. Brings back memories
In the 90's, we had 3 feet in Phila. Only had about 18 last night.

Great pictures!

2. Thanks. It was fun taking them. Could not believe how long it snowed.

Started at about 3PM on Saturday and snowed non-stop until after 3PM today.
The wind was so bad that it was snowing horizontally for part of the time!

3. I remember having three feet in Philly in the early 80s.
People were skiing in the streets.

6. Thanks for the snowy memories!
I left PA 16 yrs ago for the warmth of AZ. But I never forget the winters... even though I'd like to!
