Arrggh. G#$dam#$ high fructose corn syrup
It is REALLY hard to find anything without it! I drink mostly water (bottled or tap) but once in a while, I crave a little bottled ice tea or lemonade. It seems like it's ALL HFCS, which is metabolized even FASTER than sugar.

1. I think the world would be a much better place if...
they saved the corn to make ethanol and went back to putting real sugar in drinks!

2. Last night I was in the bread aisle looking for bread w/o HFCS
Only a few kinds don't have it.

For tea and lemonade, try Honest Tea http://www.honesttea.com/

3. yeah the damned stuff is everywhere. I can offer a solution though...
boil water
insert 2 teabags in a heat safe container
pour boiling water over tea bags
allow to steep 5 minutes
pour over ice

Enjoy

4. Is there a "health food" store near you?
They should have a supply of stuff you'd like albeit some of it will be more expensive than just going into your local deli.

5. You could try Bolthouse Farms beverages.
They make a mango lemonade and a perfectly protein w/chia tea and brewed green tea. 100% natural.

www.bolthouse.com/juice_main.html Pretty good stuff.

7. Tough to find something bottled
I travel alot and find myself holed-up at airports or train stations, on trains and airplanes or at hotels or other non-home facilities where brewing my own tea and then chilling it is not really an option.

Thanks for the recommendations for bottled drinks -- I will check them out and keep an eye open for them.
