Eye Twitching
Both my eyes have twitched on and off for the last 2 days. What does that mean? My knee is now twitching. Is it stress?

2. It's stress
Have a beer, smoke a joint, try to relax a little.

3. Drinkin' Merlot and it's still twitching
I don't smoke ANYTHING. Quit smoking cigarettes 6 months ago after 30 years. I have a boyfriend that smokes the occasional cigar and I used to enjoy that but I cannot indulge myself to smoke anything! Oh! Wait! I do smoke salmon and turkey.

Hope the twitch goes away soon. I hate it when it happens to me.

6. Well Yeah, that's a given...
I'm wondering if it's cold related. It's really been cold here for Alabama and it's even snowed an inch up here in North Bama.

5. Try drinking tonic water
The quinine will help with the twitches. You can always add gin to speed up the effect

7. Typically caused by allergies..
You may want to try an over the counter eye allergy drop!

8. That's Interesting
It's Winter and there's not a lot of pollen going on here. Even in Alabama.

14. I am laughing because this is a "buzz" sentence in my family.
When someone is feeling poorly, we say,"It might be a lack of potassium...eat a banana." Thanks for the chuckle. And I think you are right! :hi:

It stopped after I gave up caffeine. Try that.

15. I have had a twitch in my left eye, alternately top and bottom lid,
for like 4-5 months now.

I've searched the internets for causes, and the 3 I see over and over are allergies, fatigue and in fact stress. The 3 things I have an abundance of. I also stumbled upon this http://www.jasonclarke.net/archives/2005/03/31/eye-twitch/ ...I guess this guy had an eye twitch, posted about it on his blog (nearly a year ago), and it's now one of the top Google results when one searches for 'eye twitch'.

There's all sorts of info there, different things to try. Maybe one of the suggestions will help you. Best of luck, I know how completely maddening it can be. :hi:
