DU Valentines hearts and little 180

It is just like in grade school on Valentines day. All the kids are getting Valentines day cards. I sit there staring at my empty desk top and I wonder why nobody don't like me. I peak at the beautiful colorful cards full of love and kisses and hearts that the other kids are receiving. But they are not for me these cards.

Is it because I am poor? Is it because I wear same clothes every day? Is it because I stink? Is it because I can give nothing in return?

Why why I wonder it is that nobody loves me. I am so ashamed to be me.

Nobody can see my tears because I am learning to hide them.

I was just sitting here thinking about my grand children living now in such circumstances as mine were. I want to some how reach out to them and protect them from the terrible hurts that young sensitive children can and do suffer. I wish I could help all such children.
