Ice dancing judge pulled

An ice dancing judge was removed from the Olympics panel for poor performance in previous competitions. The International Skating Union removed Irina Nechkina, of Azerbaijan, on Sunday because she had received four assessments -- given for serious errors or bias -- in as many years.

"Performance evaluations are not disciplinary actions involving misconduct. Such evaluations of ISU Officials are technical decisions from which there is no right of appeal," the ISU said in a statement.

Rolf Pipoh of Germany will take Nechkina's place on the judging panel. No German couple is competing in the ice dancing competition.



And it begins! Ice dancing can just be soooo trashy.... I love it! They are just so much more in-your-face corrupt than figure skating judges!

Didn't they know about that before?

Is nothing sacred, LOL? Why do even Olympic judges have to suck so bad?

2. This is ice dancing -- it's like the mafia

For real... they have been blatantly biased for years... instead of quietly vote selling like the figure skating judges.

But come on, at least skating scandals are FUN: nothing boring like steroids. It's vote selling and knee whacking, and beating up mistresses in Spago. It ROCKS.
