I can't find a physician to help me and I have insurance...

I need to whine this morning...
I have had a cold and I also have asthma...great combo..

I coughed so much last night I am lightheaded this morning.

I may have a sinus infection...BUT my stupid physician's office told me that they can't see me til March!!! so much for that great american healthcare system...

so I am going to call my pulmonologist and see if they have an opening ...even though technically I should only see her for my asthma checks...I am sick, mad and ready to choke someone...

Now I supposedly can see any physician that I want with the dumb insurance but do you think any new doctor wants to take a new patient on the spur of the moment.....

i wanna cry...

1. My doctor was great that way. That's how I first met him; over a bad

case of bronchitis. Do you have an urgent care facility nearby? :hug: Feel better!

4. I second the urgent care idea....

You don't want to mess around with sinus infection, asthma, etc.

Once you're well, I'd find a new doctor--not seeing you until March is absurd!

BS. Raise hell, they'll fit you in. They use lines like that when they have a busy schedule and want to make sure the doctor has Thursday mornings free for golf.

5. I did raise hell and she said...."we really have no openings.."

then she told me to call another of their offices that doesn't open until later this morning....bunch of bullshit...

"we don't have enough physicians in our practice"....wah wah wah....the rumor is that they treat their physician employees like dog shit...that is why they can't keep any of them...
