AP: Records Show that Sen. Reid (D, NV) Has Often Hunted Quail

Records shown to the AP indicate that Democratic Senate Leader Harry Reid (NV) has often hunted quail.

Indeed, the records, released by the state of Nevada Department of Natural Resources, show that Reid has been hunting quail since his teenage years, and has even applied for waterfowl hunting stamps at various periods (it is unclear whether Reid actually hunted such waterfowl, however).

Ken Mehlman, the Chairman of Republican National Committee commented on the revelations, "This just shows that this weekend's hunting accident was a bi-partisan accident in that the Democrat leader is as much involved in quail hunting as the Vice President of the United States."

Calls to Reid's office to comment on this story were not made.
