I'm not sure. I always took it to mean like "Oh, damn" or something. I just think it's funny and say it all the time.

is take slang I hear, and if I think it's funny when heard a certain way, I use it... a LOT, often the wrong way. Sometimes I do it just to see if others will start doing it. And I have a tendency to type more like how I talk out loud. :).
