7. Oh, I'm so sorry! I had a rabbit when I was 16 years old,...

a gift from my boyfriend at the time; I named him Peter Rabbit; he was incredible--when he heard the frig opening, he would slide around the corners of our hardwood floor corners to make it to the frig in time to get a bite of lettuce, or a few carrots, peanut butter, or whatever. He used to drape himself over my Mom's neck and shoulders while she was reading the newspaper. He was litter trained (except when he shat in my momma's shoes in the closet! She loved him anyway! He died when he drank from the toilet, we think, and got pneumonia. It was a great loss for all of the family! RIP Peter!

27. Oh my--I clicked on this thinking it was a joke about being pregnant.

That used to be a slang term for finding out you were pregnant.

Back in the pre-EPT days, they actually injected rabbits with urine from women who needed a pregnancy test. If the rabbit died it was a positive pregnancy...

I am most sorry to hear about your bunny dying, MrSlayer. That is so very sad. Hugs to the entire Slayer family.

Ours was an "unplanned" bunny who was probably dumped in our neighborhood last summer -- no one claimed him after we ran ads, put up signs, etc. I've never had a bunny and I must say after I got over the initial shock that he wasn't a cat (we have three felines) I've really grown to love the little fella.

Your bunny was beautiful and I send my best wishes to you and your family.
