Edited on Tue Feb-14-06 05:01 AM by MrScorpio
I am incredibly bummed out about this

http://www.bbc.co.uk/1xtra/hiphop/j_dilla.shtml

"J Dilla was one of the sickest producers ever. He influenced a whole generation of producers that are killing it today. We all go through our personal battles and he fought long and hard to continue with his music despite his illness. Fortunately, his music lives on." Semtex

J Dilla aka Jay Dee has died at home in Los Angeles, he was suffering from lupus.
His label Stones Throw Records told 1Xtra, "He passed this morning Friday February 10th at his home in Los Angeles. He turned 32 last Tuesday, February 7th. He was with his mother at the time."

3. Lupus Sucks
I really sympathize - not because I have lupus, but because I have something I'm not "supposed to" either (lupus primarily strikes women; my kidney disease primarily strikes older black men).
