Apparently the pipes behind the kitchen wall are leaking in my apartment. They're sawing a person-sized hole in it right now. Dust is EVERYWHERE, what a huge mess. Ew.
And I have an installer coming today, and someone coming over for coffee & stuff.

I had a second interview with the hotel folks and they said they would call me on Monday. I didn't get a call yesterday. When I talked to my head hunter on Monday, she said they were crazy busy, everyone loved me and to sit tight until I hear from them.

But when I get a call from hydro telling me that TWO MONTHS after I launched an investigation into misapplied payments they STILL haven't received it all, and that my bank manager SWORE she would contact hydro about it right away (two weeks ago) and they STILL haven't heard from her, and I'm STILL getting late charges and they STILL wanna cut me off, I get a little... frustrated.

18. Oh, yuck. That's no way to start a morning.

Mine is so-so. I got to work and had to deal with an unexpected visit from a few clients right away. (Callig ahead is too much work, apparently.) So that was fun. And I got to listen to my boss whitewash over some legitimate complaints we had from people over the weekend which is great because my job is partly to make sure we take complaints seriously, and I do. But then he goes and justifies the issue and tries to shuffle the complainers away which makes them resent him, me, the business--it sucks. And it turns me into a liar by default, which is real fuckin' cute.

BUT now I'm just screwing around until my 1pm meeting and hoping that this guy at my other job gets one of two promotions available so I can go full time there and get out of this stupid job that I hate once and for all.

Now the meeting's over, it's sunny, I've got some tasty chocolate here to eat, and only 2 and a half hours of work to go. And, soon I'll be one day closer to finding out if my other co-worker got promoted.
