He brags about skiing while drunk, then says he didn't say it. To me, this is showing no respect for the sport, his talent, or his TEAM. Flirting with crippling injuries. You have people like Michelle Kwan who has to withdraw on injuries, Picabo Street who loved the sport, but crippling injuries stopped her career. Or the downhiller yesterday, who is in severe pain, but will ski anyway. Drinks the night before the downhill and doesn't even go on an inspection. Is soooooo irritatingly arrogant in that stereotypical American way. Hyped to the max -- often by himeslf... yup, zero for two, Bode Boy. Give something back to your sport, and maybe you'll get something in return. Karma, baby.

on edit: And, he gets a zillion dollars in endorsements, while people like Grandma Luge have a webpage for donations so she can compete. She's 52, a cancer survivor, and still does that, even knowing she'll never medal. After broken bones, a severe closed-head injury, etc.
