OMG.... I think i just saw the ghost in my school a few minutes ago..... |
|
I teach at Phoebus.... we are the phoebus phantoms.... and the school has always been rumored to HAVE a phantom.... A long haired kid from the 1970's who died in a car crash..... I am staying behind (6:15 now) to monitor the step team and GED kids using the library. I went up a few minutes ago to shut off all the printers and lock up the library.... when I went in there was a kid in a chair by the old magazine stacks sitting with his hands between his knees..... I have lots of long haired goth kids so I said "oh, honey I didn't know you were still here." When I turned back from turning the light back on for him..... there was no him. I still have goose bumps!

Does he let you all know when he needs the light on, or do you just have to leave it on all the time?

I'd still have goose bumps, too!
Funny enough, just about an hour ago I was talking to a friend who fessed up he has a ghost in his house...he is so rational and logical that I'm amazed he even believes it.
I've had visitations from my late mother, but they were primarily auditory, not visual.
What an experience!:hi:

8. Wow, amazing experience |
|
We used to have some ghosts in this house but I haven't heard them in a year or so. I kinda miss them. They used to make a lot of noise, primarily downstairs where we have a couple of spare rooms we use for storage. I got in the habit of speaking to them when I went down, on the assumption that no one likes to be ignored and they seemed to get quieter and quieter as time went by. Now I don't hear them at all.
Maybe they needed that to be at peace. I don't have any idea. But I do kinda miss them sometimes...

9. My folklore professor would love you. |

She's always telling ghost stories like that in class. (It's a course on supernatural folklore.)

18. On the subject of orbs... |
|
Edited on Fri Feb-17-06 09:08 AM by Misunderestimator
A friend and I took a lot of pictures in Fort Zachary Taylor in Key West... where we both felt a very strong presence of "something." The pictures we took in the old lavatory (which was just a stone bench with a line of about a half dozen outhouse-like holes to sit on, now covered) had distinct orbs in them. The orbs did not look like some photography or lighting glitch, and in each picture the orbs (of different sizes) were floating in different locations as if they were moving. Even in pictures taken at the same angle.
